About us

Inɨ́sha means "My Daughter" in the Yakama Tribal Language. This dinner focuses on Indigenous Foodways, Food Sovereignty, modern takes on traditional Tribal recipes, and only sourcing ingredients from 'Turtle Island'. Inɨ́sha draws inspiration from Alexa's Tribal affiliations - Hopi, Yakama, Skokomish, and Cree Nations. The menu will be dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and cane sugar-free. Additionally, only proteins native to this continent will be sourced, meaning no pork, chicken, or beef. Instead we will use wild boar, bison, duck, goose, rabbit, and Tribally-caught fish.

We will eat how the Indigenous Peoples of this Land would have eaten.

Food is Medicine.
